Ideally we would like as many people as possible to have 'Tea for PSP' during Awareness Week, but if this date doesn't suit then don't worry, pick anytime that is convenient for you and your guests!
Plan your Tea for PSP event well in advance - the earlier you get the invitations out and posters up the better chance you'll have of getting people to support it.
Choose a venue. Your Tea Party for PSP can take place wherever you like; home, school, or local community centre. Why not go for a unique and whacky venue? Have a party on top of a mountain or in a tree house!
- Theme your party or just have a traditional tea and biscuits
- Set your target at the beginning - the more guests you have, the more money you will raise for those living with PSP.

Once you have decided on the details, send out your invitations and put up your posters near your venue.
Make Tea for PSP work for you. Your event can be small and intimate with a few selected guests or a larger party open to everyone. If you want to aim high, get your local school, church or community groups involved - the more places you advertise the party, the more guests will come!
Invite your local MP, dignitaries or celebrities. Ask the local media along to cover your event, or send a press release out to publicise the party.

Why not set up your own Tea for PSP VirginGiving page?
Invite colleagues and friends via email or social networking sites; and ask them to via your webpage if they can't make it.

Brighten things up with posters and balloons. If you have chosen a theme for your party, go overboard and decorate the venue to suit.
Make sure you have a price list visible for your cakes.
Have some volunteers organise the extra opportunities to make the most of your party.
Use our collection boxes for any loose s.

Remember that raising awareness of PSP is almost as important as raising funds, so make sure everyone knows the reasons why you are holding your party.
