The PSP Association's Draft Research Strategy

Your opportunity to have your say on research

The PSP Association is seeking the views of people with PSP and CBD, their carers, health care professionals, researchers and other interested parties on its Draft Research Strategy which sets out the broad focus for the charity's research for the five-year period from January 2011 to December 2015.

The PSP Association welcomes your comments on the Draft Research Strategy and your ideas for research that you believe could make a difference to the lives of people with PSP and CBD.

The public consultation exercise will run for a period of 20 weeks from Monday 24th May and will close at 5 pm on Friday 8th October.

Dr Angela Wilson, The PSP Association's Director of Medical Awareness and Research, said:

This is an incredibly exciting time for The PSP Association.  The Draft Research Strategy sets out the broad focus for research and allows people to see how all the very different areas of research fit together. But what is really important is that for the first time ever, people with PSP and CBD, their carers, healthcare professionals, researchers and all other interested parties have the opportunity to shape the future research programme by saying what research they believe could make a big difference to peoples lives.  We really do want to hear from people.  For the future Research Strategy to work it must reflect the needs of all those affected by PSP and CBD.  Please help us to make it work by sharing with us your views on the Draft Research Strategy and your ideas for research."
