Our volunteers make a positive impact on the work of The PSP Association through a range of volunteering roles.

Head Office Volunteers

Our head office volunteers are based at The PSP Association's office in Towcester, Northamptonshire, and help with many important and varied tasks.

Event Volunteers

Our event volunteers help at events around the country. This may include cheering on participants, e.g. our London Marathon runners, acting as a PSP host(ess), handing out information and generally helping to ensure the event is a success.

Many people support The PSP Association through organising their own event.  As well as raising much needed funds, these events continue to help us to spread the word about PSP and CBD and the work of The PSP Association.

Regional Volunteers

Regional volunteers act as representatives for The PSP Association, helping us to raise the profile of PSP and CBD and the work of The PSP Association across the UK.  This may be by giving talks or presenting to local groups, attending a cheque presentation or local event, (either organised directly by The PSP Association or by one of our supporters) and talking to the local media.  This work can be invaluable in raising awareness of The PSP Association and encourages communities to raise funds for our charity.

Local Support Group Volunteers

A key area where we are seeking the support of volunteers is for our Support Groups. We hold a total of around 60 Care & Support Group Meetings each year in over 25 locations across the UK and Ireland.  We are looking for additional volunteers in some areas to assist with the organising and running of these groups.
